ADHD linked to pesticide exposure

A new study in Pediatrics showed that children with above average pesticide exposure were more than twice as likely to have ADHD compared to children with average pesticide levels. The study looked at pesticide metabolites in the urine, so it had no way of knowing how the exposure took place, but in children living in suburban areas it is most likely from foods.

So….what does this mean? Probably that more research needs to be done. But it does make you think twice about washing your food well or buying organic.
