A few years ago Dr. Lash came up with a crazy idea to put together a Southpoint blog. 150 posts later, here we are. And to celebrate, we’re doing what all good blogs do…a giveaway! But since we don’t have any cute crafts to give away, and no one’s all that excited for what we do have (shots?) we’re going old school. Cold hard…gift card. $75 to Target. I love everything about Dr. Goodwin. She set up the first date I had with my husband, so she's the reason I have 2 kids to bring to Southpoint! She's our bonus grandma with great advice and a prescription pad–we couldn't ask for anything better.

I love this blog (and Southpoint) because I always learn valuable information regarding the health of my kids. The receptionist at Southpoint are always so nice and I can always get in quickly. And of course all the doctors are great!

Dr. Lash is absolutely the best! From the first prenatal interview until now, nearly 7 years and 3 children later, I have been amazed at the care and support he has for his patients and their families. He actually listens! I couldn't ask for a better pediatricians office. (And we love talking tomatoes!)

I've loved the interaction – comments on facebook get responded to. I also have loved all of the Dr's we've seen so far – with Dr. Packer being on maternity leave, we saw a few. We're happy to have Dr. Packer back!

I love Southpoint! I started taking my son to Dr. Buchanan when my son was born nearly 7 years ago and we lived in South Jordan. Now we live up in West Valley and I refuse to get a pediatrician that is closer. The doctors at Southpoint are very knowledgeable and willing to look 'outside the box' whenever presented with a problem. Plus when my daughter had pnemonia, they arranged for the ambulance to take us to Primary Children's. We walked through the emergency room and right into a bed with no emergency room visit. It was great!

I absolutely love everyone at south point pediatrics! I have heard from other moms about how wonderful their childs doctor was, but I really do believe that my kids pediatricians are the best out there. Thank you Dr. Buchannan for being so great!

We love Theresa and Dr. Goodwin. Anthony has anxiety and was so nervous for his pre-K appointment. Dr. Good win made it fun for him to show off all he could do. He was so proud of himself he forgot to be scared. Thanks!!

We have been coming to Dr Lash for more than 11yrs and 5 kids, I recommend so many people to him and your office! When we moved for a year and half to Logan and half and had to go to someone else, they were nice but just didn't compare!! We were so glad to come back! I love that Dr Lash never makes me worry about anything unless I really should, I can trust him to tell me the truth! All the Dr's and Staff are awesome!!!

We have been comming to Southpoint Ped. since my first was born almost 11 years ago. We now have four and my children Love going to the Doctors. Dr. Buchanan has always made an effort to get to know my children and our family. He feels like part of our family. The office staff are increadible and always make me smile everytime we come in. We love them. My husband is in the military and when my husband was on active duty in Iraq for 17 months our insurance changed. Dr. Buchanan and Dr. Lash were increadibly supportive during this hard time for us and they worked with our insurance and us so that we did not have to change Doctors. This meant more to us than they could ever know. For my children not have disrupt something else so important and so trusted in their lives and mine was extremely helpful. We love all of you at Southpoint and appriciate all that you do for our family. Keep up the great work!

Southpoint is all around a GREAT office! The ladies at the front desk always remember us, our MA's ALWAYS talk to my kids and not just me, and every single Dr. or Nurse we've dealt with has been so good with all of us! I really like having the ADHD meds line, I know my in between appointment concerns will be heard and someone will get back to me as soon as they can. Thanks Southpoint Pediatrics!

I love Southpoint Peds. I left them once and went somewhere closer, but I had to come back. The office is so clean and bright. The staff is so friendly, not to mention knowledgeable. I rarely have a wait. My kids love it there. Even if they do have to get shots. I also commented about your office on FB.

I love that Southpoint has always been available to answer questions, even when it was 2 AM with my first baby! All of the doctors are great, and I appreciate being able to get in quickly for sick visits.

Southpoint Pediatrics and Dr. Packer are the best! I switched doctors (from another clinic) when my oldest was about 3 and have not looked back! I love that I can ask Dr. Packer any silly questions I have, and not only does she know all the answers, she doesn't make me feel dumb for asking them! She is so good with the kids and they love visiting her (with the exception of getting shots 🙂 She goes above and beyond. Thanks for being such a great doctor and friend, Dr. Packer.

Our family loves Dr. Packer! I have never felt rushed or like I wasn't listened to at an appointment. She explains things, not just to me but to my girls as well. The new changes to the office are amazing and the front office people are so nice every time I come in! I have been to a couple other offices, but nothing compares to Southpoint!

We just love SPP. We typically see Dr. Lash but have seen others when he wasn't available and have never had anything but great service. My favorite thing is that Dr. Lash always remembers us and always asks about our other son/daughter whenever one of them has an appointment. I've referred many of my friends to your office! Thanks for everything you do to keep my kids healthy. (And I talked you up on FaceBook, too!)

We love and adore Dr. Bosworth!! My three kids ranging from 7 yrs old to 3 yrs old love him, his name even comes up on occasion at the dinner table. I love that my kids are confident in Dr. Bosworth, they literally cry for him when they are sick. My 5 yr old son just asked me last week if Heavenly Father is smarter than Dr. Bosworth and was shocked that my answer was \”yes\”. I have left Southpoint with many different emotions over the past few years: laughing, feelings of gratitude, and sometimes in tears but I can't imagine working with a different team in this crazy task of raising three beautiful children in an extremely scary world. I love that I can go to Dr. Bosworth for anything and know I will get his honest opinion/diagnosis regardless of my hesitations. If anybody is looking for a pediatrician who is knowledgeable, compassionate, funny, and totally committed to the many patients who love him, Dr. Bosworth is THE MAN!! He also comes with an amazing assistant, Jen, who will take your calls and texts through all hours of the night to help a desperate mother out! 🙂 Thanks Southpoint.

I would highly recommend Dr. Packer. Her personal skills with young children are matchless and he honest concern for patients is so welcome when you are a worried, often sleep deprived parent.

We LOVE the whole office. All 3 of my kids see Dr Bosworth. Love that he and Jen have patience with our active family. Thank you for all your hard work and really for taking such great care of us. You guys are AWESOME!!!

I don't live in the state so I can't visit your clinic, but I know that when we move back to Utah, Dr. Packer will definitely be my pediatrician. She's been extremely helpful to me and my kids, and she's not even our doctor!

I came to check out the center and because of the staff and Dr. Bosworth we decided to stay with southpoint. We could not say anything but great things about it! Thanks for all you do!

I love the blog, because I can check here for all the new info, and don't have to call the office with the \”Is this going around?\” Also I love that my daughter asks \”Can I go to the doctor today?\” as if it is a package or fruit snacks! We have seen every doctor and MA there and LOVE you all for the work that you do everyday. It may be something that you deal with everyday, but for us you are the ones there when we are dealing with things for the first time.

Our kids love Dr. Bosworth! Our almost-3-yr-old asks for him when he gets sick, and tells us that \”the doctor loves him so much.\” A big thank you to Dr. Bosworth for indulging our toddler in his delusion that they are best friends! It makes trips to the doctor's office so much more pleasant. And of course thank you for always getting us in, answering our many phone calls, being there for trips to the hospital with RSV, and just caring about our cute kids. It's so comforting to know that there is always someone there to help!

My son and I both LOVE LOVE LOVE all the Dr's at Southpoint! But Dr. Goodwin is his main dr and we LOVE her! She is always so happy and bubbly that it turns my whole day around. She always has every answer I am looking for with some suggestions to help me out. Everyone there has always been there to answer my questions or refer me to somebody that could. Every dr has always been the greatest to us and cared. My son has been a patient since he was born and will be, until he is too old to go to Southpoint. I moved across the valley recently and will continue to make the drive to Soutpoint for all the good reasons that I could go on and on about!!!!!!!-Traci

I have no doubt that the ladies on the blog know what they are talking about but what they really don't know is…DR. BOSWORTH IS THE BEST!!! From day one he has always answered questions and has never made me feel dumb for asking them. I highly value his opinion. When we moved to UT county, I had no problems driving the extra time just to keep Dr. \”B\”. -Camber

Dr. Goodwin is my doctor and I love her because she is a mom and treats me like I know what I am talking about. Even though I am a far from perfect parent I walk out of there feeling like I am doing okay. I also think the current receptionists are so kind! They get an A+ from me!

Southpoint Pediatrics is great. Dr. Packer is wonderful with my little girl. She makes us all feel comfortable and well informed. I shout out to amazing MAs. You can tell they all love their jobs and the kids. They make our experience pleasant and comforting, especially when needles are involved.
