Back to School GIVEAWAY

We had so much fun with our last giveaway, we thought we’d do it again…just in time for last minute back-to-school shopping. The question this time:

Do you look forward to school starting/summer ending with dread or excitement?

Three ways to enter (you can do all three!):

  1. Leave a comment
  2. Put a link to the giveaway on your blog
  3. Put a link to the giveaway on Facebook
The prize:

$75 gift card to Target

For our last giveaway the winner sent me this sweet email:

“So my grandma trained me to tell her everything I purchase when she sends me a giftcard so I feel obligated to do the same with you. I bought myself a cute pair of Mossimo capris, a cute green shirt, Maizy got a new pair of shorts with a matching shirt, I needed a bottle of hairspray, and I bought Jen Ostrander the first book of the Hunger Games because she is too stinking cute AND I had $17 leftover. Thank you so much, I had a blast!!!”

Fun, fun. We’ll close it in a week, Sunday at midnight, and announce the winner Monday the 15th.

  1. I have mixed feelings about it. I don't like the heat of the summer but it's certainly more relaxed. Once school starts life is definitely a lot busier but it's nice to get the kids out of the house!

  2. The kids aren't in school yet, but we love the fall – especially since my daughter's birthday is at the end of August! We look forward to postseason baseball and Halloween so much that it makes it easier to deal with missing the warm days of summer!

  3. I'm SO looking forward to it. I read the comments from the other moms about how they've loved spending time with their children, and I'm counting down the days until I can send my 7 year old to school! We all need a little bit of space!

  4. My oldest is starting Preschool this year. I am kinda excited for her (like moms are! wohoo 2 hours of free time! oh wait, I have 2 more kiddos still at home!) and kinda scared (likes moms are…she is still my baby, she cant be old enough for this stuff yet!) So I guess you can say I have mixed emotions right now. WAIT! can I change my mind and send all 3 now?

  5. Our summer has already ended. Our boys have already started school. I am sad I feel that we had very little time to spend as a family doing fun summer family adventures. Now we just plan some of those on Saturdays. Could have used a few more weeks of summer vacation. Love spending time with my family

  7. I look forward to school starting for the sanity a \”set\” schedule gives us, plus our baby is starting first grade and I have LOTS of projects I'll finally have time to do! But I also dread the end of lazy summer days and playing outside. Winter just lasts too long here in Utah.

  8. I'm mostly looking forward to my girls going back to school. Kind of bittersweet…I've loved having them home with no schedule or homework to fight about. But I'll sure miss them! The $75 gift card would be fabulous to win!

  9. I can't decide! My oldest is starting preschool so I'm pretty much an emotional wreck with that. As far as the weather goes, I LOVE fall, but I don't think I'm quite ready to say goodbye to summertime yet!

  11. Excited for the structure and routine of school – but I always worry so much when I send my kids to school – it's so emotional for me! I wish I could be with them to protect them and help them – it's hard to send them off on their own. They, however, are nothing but excited for school to start!

  12. Each year I dread school starting because my husband (a school teacher) is going back to work. We love having him home for the summer. This year I'm double dreading the end of summer as my little guy is starting kindergarten and I'm not sure I'm ready to let him go.

  13. I have mixed feelings about the kids going back to school. By the end of the summer they are ready to go back and ready to have a schedule again. BUT I never accomplish all the things I want to do during the summer and I feel like we've wasted it most of the time. Thanks for the great giveaway! We LOVE Southpoint Pediatrics!

  14. I am excited for my children to go back to school, all the house work I do over the weekend may last until Wednesday haha. Really, I think the kids are bored and are also looking forward to a schedule and to be challenged again. Sometimes summer seems so long, but we never look forward to the winter.

  15. I am dreading the school year starting. Neither of my kids are old enough for school, but I am. I am working on my degree right now. Part of me wants to quit so bad, but the other part of me says that I am doing this for my kids. Here's to hoping I have time and energy to conquer this school year!!

  19. I am super excited! My youngest is starting school this year! Uh oh…the big K!! She can't wait! It is so cute to listen to her day dream about going to school. She talks about all the friends that she will make, how great she is going to do, how she is going to be SUCH a good girl for the teacher. I am just so excited for her. My 9 year old isn't as excited…surprize surprize 🙂

  20. Do you look forward to school starting/summer ending with dread or excitement?A little of both. While I am excited for school to start because it is the end of the bordom for the kids. I dread it because of the expense of outfitting the kids again for school. It seems that they outgrow everything every year. One in Jr Higha and one starts Kindergarton this year wow where has the time gone.
